Our Philosophy

Love and Choice Learning Collective (Love + Choice) is grounded in the belief that children learn best when they are known, supported, and given meaningful choices in their learning. We are dedicated to creating nurturing, inclusive, and innovative learning experiences for Kindergarten to fifth grade students (K-5) and their families.

Love and choice guide every aspect of our work, from how we design learning experiences to how we partner with families and community. Our programs are developed and led by experienced educators who draw on culturally responsive, whole-child, and inquiry-based approaches to support academic growth, social-emotional development, and a lifelong love of learning.

We support students through core academic learning, social connection, and culturally affirming experiences that reflect their identities and the world around them. Learning is hands-on, engaging, and rooted in real-world problem-solving, critical thinking, and curiosity, allowing each child’s strengths, interests, and needs to shape their learning journey.

We believe education is most effective when families and support networks are engaged partners. Through learning support, advocacy, and guidance, Love + Choice works alongside children's community to help them thrive both within and beyond traditional school settings.
